Natural Gas Reaches Meerut City

Meerut City joins the coveted list of “CGD Cities” with the commencement of Gas supply from GAIL Gas Limited. Natural Gas has started flowing to in the City Gas Distribution Network within Meerut City laid by the GAIL Gas Limited.  

The City Gate Station (CGS) has been constructed at Ghat Village and a feeder pipeline has been laid for supply of gas with tap-off at Nekpur at Dadri- Bawana–Nangal pipeline of GAIL (India) Ltd. The gas supply has commenced to first industry M/s Krishna Cap Box Private Limited. More industries are likely to get connected to CGD network very soon.
